The following eight institutions took part in the common trip organized by our cluster: Zakład Narzędziowy EKOPLAST Roman Glazik, TMR Plastics sp. z o.o., OKT Polska sp. z o.o., APX Technologie sp. z o.o., WW Ekochem sp. z o.o. sp.k., Hasco Polska sp. z o.o. with UTP University of Science and Technology and Bydgoszcz Regional Development Agency representing the City of Bydgoszcz.
FAKUMA is considered to be the most significant plastics processing industry event in Europe, especially as far as moulding, injection and thermoforming are concerned. During the fairs there were presentations of state-of-the-art machines used in plastics processing industry, as well as new plastics processing technologies and wide range of materials and different kinds of automated solutions. Among the visitors there were many companies dealing with production of tools for polymer processing industry.
Representatives from the whole world participated in FAKUMA. The most strongly represented countries were: Germany (925 companies), Italy (102 companies) and Switzerland (97 companies). In fairs there were representatives of Austria (63 companies), France (43 companies), China (41 companies), Portugal (27 companies), Holland (25 companies), Czech Republic (20 companies) and Turkey (17 companies). The trade offers were also presented by some polish companies, inter alia, Fado Sp. z o.o. from Bydgoszcz, our cluster member.
Bydgoszcz Regional Development Agency representing the City of Bydgoszcz and UTP University of Science and Technology took part in the common trip, what proves how well the cooperation between business, science and local administration is developed.
