We are pleased that our efforts have met with great interest from middle school students in our Region.
The aim of the project was to promote vocational education and our branch in the Region. Visits were intended to encourage students for education in technical fields, to show them how modern workplaces, production halls look like and to familiarize them with the professions. With this kind of activities, students had a chance to verify their ideas about working in the industry, and also to talk with employees about their daily work and employment opportunities in tools and plastic processing industry.
Bydgoszcz Industrial Cluster organized 24 visits, in the academic year of 2015/2016, for about 430 students. The meetings were organized in the Cluster member companies. The meetings were attended by students from the following Junior High Schools in Bydgoszcz: No. 2, 16, 22, 23, 25, 28; Junior High School No. 2 in Kotomierz and Junior High School in Nowa Wieś Wielka.
Seven organizations partcipated in the Project. The visits took place in companies such as: Shapers’ Polska Sp. z o.o., Tyco Electronics Polska Sp. z o. o., HANPLAST Sp. z o.o., Lifocolor Farbplast Sp. z o.o., SIROPOL Sp. z o.o. or Politech Sp. z o.o. and Produkcja Artykułów z Tworzyw Sztucznych APLEX Sp. z o.o.
